National Awards
Each year, the National Awards honor those who have made outstanding contributions to AMTA, the community or the profession. AMTA is currently accepting 2019 nominations for the following awards: Government Relations Activist, Humanitarian, National Meritorious, and Sports Massage Achiever through April 30, 2019.
Government Relations Activist
The Government Relations Activist Award openly honors recipients who have provided exceptional accomplishments at the Chapter and/or national level regarding government relations activities.

Humanitarian
The Humanitarian Award openly honors an AMTA member who has acknowledged the “heart” of massage in action (through volunteer work which may or may not include massage) done in the larger community. Volunteer work can include, but is not limited to the following: charity, church, supporting the arts, working with children, disabled, needy, sick, homeless, and elderly.

National Meritorious
The National Meritorious Award openly honors an AMTA member who has performed diligent volunteerism in an altruistic manner at the national level.

Sports Massage Achiever
The Sports Massage Achiever Award openly honors an AMTA member who has enhanced the visibility, prestige and acceptance of sports massage and sports massage therapists to the general public, and areas within the sports massage community.
